I'm Uzair Manan, a fullstack developer and systems engineer in Karachi, Pakistan. I've built platforms for clients, including a construction firm's finance system, a money app for kids and a fabric storefront with a 3D viewer, and backends of my own for payments, auth and flash sales.
Most of my time goes into the code that has to stay correct when something goes wrong: two workers racing for one order, a process killed halfway through a payment, a refresh token used twice. I write up what I find on the blog.
Three client platforms and
three backends I built alone.
An operations platform for a construction firm with billing cycles, contracts, vendors, payroll and tax liability, with an approval queue in front of every staff edit.
A money-skills platform for kids aged six to twelve with lessons, games and a daily quiz that pay out coins, and a parent mode that turns coins into allowance.
A bilingual storefront and admin panel for a fabric supplier, where buyers see any fabric wrapped onto a 3D garment before they request a sample.
A small payment processor with a ledger, webhooks sent through an outbox, and crash tests that kill the process halfway through a payment.
A flash-sale backend that keeps stock in Redis and payment on a queue. Load-tested with 900 users buying the product at the same instant, and none oversold.
An Express and TypeScript auth template on npm, with per-device sessions, refresh-token reuse detection and Redis rate limiting.
